Tour Features: This tour plan is designed for the visitors who want to know more about Suzhou, a well-known garden city with 'the streets and rivers go side by side while the water and land routes run in parallel' and the Canal Town Zhouzhuang, surrounded by water with many branching streams, stone bridges and old residence with black tiles and white wells. You will go to travel many attractions, such as Grand Canal, No.1 Silk Factory and Tiger Hill Park and so on.

Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival / Suzhou (-/ L/ D)

You’ll be welcomed at the Suzhou station and then transported to the hotel. After a short rest, you will cruise on the Grand Canal, which is the earliest and the longest artificial river in the world. Then visit Water City Gate (Pan Gate), which is the best preserved land and waterway city gate in China. In the afternoon you will visit No.1 Silk Factory, where you can see the whole production process of silk weavings and buy some silk products. Later you will visit Liuyuan Garden-one of the four most famous gardens in China. In the evening you will enjoy the garden show.

Day 2 : Suzhou (B/ L/ D)

Today, continue to visit in Suzhou. At first you will have a trishaw ride to the old city area of Suzhou. Then go to see the Couple Garden Retreat and enjoy the local opera under the Pavilion. In the afternoon you will visit Tiger Hill Park, which comprises several historic and cultural relics to see. Later go to see Cold Mountain Temple-once one of the 10 most famous temples in China.

Day 3: Suzhou / Zhouzhuang / Shanghai Departure (B/ L/ D)

Drive to Zhouzhuang and spend half a day on touring in it. Zhouzhuang, one of the most famous water-towns in China, is 30 km southeast of Suzhou. It is noted for its profound cultural background, well-preserved ancient residential houses, elegant waters and traditional lifestyle with a strong local flavor. You will go to visit it. Afterwards, drive to Shanghai and see off.
