These gardens attain their high reputation not only for their vast numbers, but also for their charming natural beauty and harmonious construction. By this one-day tour, you will visit the most famous gardens- Humble Administrator's Garden and Lingering Garden. Besides, the world's oldest and longest canal- Grand Canal is also waiting for you.

Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Shanghai / Suzhou / Shanghai (-/ L/ -)

In the morning, drive to Suzhou and cruise on the Grand Canal first. Grand Canal is one of the greatest projects constructed in ancient China. It is the world's oldest and longest canal, far surpassing the next two grand canals of the world: Suez and Panama Canal. The first cruise line on the Grand Canal was launched in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province in the early 1980s. The line later expanded to more cities such as Suzhou, Yangzhou and Hangzhou. Then visit the world famous classical gardens in Suzhou-Humble Administrator's Garden, the largest of all classical gardens in Suzhou. Afterwards, pay a visit to the Lingering Garden, which was built in 1583 by Xu Taishi, a bureaucrat of the Ming court, as his private residence. At last, go back to Shanghai.
