Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival / Suzhou (-/ L/ D)
Upon arrival, you will be met and transported to the hotel. A short rest later, you can visit this beautiful city by yourself on the rest of the day. Suzhou, a well-known garden city, is renowned for its beautiful stone bridges, pagodas, and meticulously designed gardens. Besides, it is also a water town with traditional architecture. Don’t forget to take a camera when you walk on the street of picturesque Suzhou.
Day 2: Suzhou (B/ L/ D)
Today you visit the Lingering Garden, which is famous for its artistic way of dealing with the spaces between various kinds of architectural forms and garden courts, and Humble Administrator's Garden, the largest of all classical gardens in Suzhou. Tonight after dinner, you will tour the Master of Fishing Nets Garden, the most elegantly designed garden while enjoying the singing and dancing performances in the garden.
Day 3:Suzhou / Zhouzhuang (B/ L/ D)
Today you cruise on the world famous ancient Grand Canal, with more than 1400 years history, to experience the unique cultures and glimpse at the daily life of the local residents. You will also visit the silk spinning factory, where you will watch a fashion show and shop for silk products. You will visit the ancient Panmen Gate, the only existing water & land gate. In the afternoon, you will head for Shanghai. On your way to Shanghai, you will spend a couple of hours in Zhouzhuang, a town near Suzhou, where you will experience the serene country lifestyle of the local residents and see the well preserved Old World architecture. Then see off in the evening in Shanghai.
