Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival / Ningbo (-/ -/ -)
Upon Arrival in Ningbo, located in the middle of China's coastline and the southeast flank of the Yangtze River Delta, a beautiful port city with rich cultural heritage and abundant resource, you will be met and transferred to Hotel.
Day 2: Ningbo / Putuo (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast, take ferry to Putuo from Ningbo. Today you will visit Putuo Mountain. The Buddhist sacred mountain of the east is actually a mountainous island south of Shanghai and east of Ningbo. It is the home of the most popular bodhisattva of China - Guan Yin (Kuan Yin). The three main temples are: Puji Temple, Fayu Temple and Huiji Temple. Puji Temple covers 11,000 square meters, which is one of the three largest in the twenty temples in Putuo. Fayu Temple is also known as "Hou Temple" with an area of 33408 square meters. Huiji Temple is standing up Foding Mountain. Here you could take a cable around 10 minutes or climb around 30 minutes to reach the top of the mountain for praying.
Day 3: Putuo / Shaoxing / Hangzhou (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast take coach pass by Ningbo to Shaoxing. You will visit Former Residence of Lu Xun, one of China's best known modem writers and author of such stories as Diary of a Madman and Medicine, was born in Shaoxing and lived here until he went abroad to study. His former residence is located at 208 Luxunzhong Road, and has been restored to its original state. There are more than a hundred rooms as well as a garden. There is also a Memorial Hall dedicated to his history on the same street. Next, visit Orchid Pavilion, which is well-known because of Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher-minister in Eastern Jin Dynasty. After that take coach to Hangzhou.
Day 4: Hangzhou / Shanghai(B/ L/ D)
Hangzhou is Capital of Zhejiang Province and it is a well-known tourist city at home and abroad. Today you will visit the West Lake to better appreciate its beauty. West Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in China. Continue to visit the Mausoleum of General Yue Fei, which is built to memorize the national hero-Yue Fei. Built in 1221, the temple was the burial place for Yue Fei, an outstanding and patriotic hero of Song Dynasty. After that view Huagang Guanyu (Viewing Fish in the Flower Harbor), which is also called Lu Park. And you will also visit Paradise of Longjing Tea Connoisseurs, which is one of the "Ten New Sights of the West Lake”. This place is frequented by those who come for a taste of the Longjin tea, known for its greenness, fragrance, mellow taste, and beauty of tea leaves. After that transfer to Shanghai.
Day 5: Shanghai / Departure (B/ L/ -)
Shanghai is the largest economic and trade center in the country and a comprehensive industrial base. It is an open city along the coast, as well as a famous historical and cultural city. Upon arrival, proceed to the famous shopping district - Nanjing Road. Also visit the well-known the Bund for some nice picture shots. After that visit the "Oriental Pearl" TV Tower, a new landmark of Shanghai. At a height of 468 meters, it is the tallest TV tower in Asia. Afterwards, transfer to the airport.
