Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival / Hangzhou / Shexian County (-/ L/ D)
Flight to Hangzhou city. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Shexian County. Shexian County is the home of art and culture in the southwestern China and a perfect place to examine the culture of ancient China's feudal society. Then go to taste the local cuisine – Fengle Lake fish meal at lunch. Later, enjoy boat trip to the lake, which is renowned as the heavenly pool of Mt. Huang. Afterwards, take bus to Mt. Huang Scenic Area.
Day 2: Mt. Huang (B/ L/ D)
Of all Chinese mountain landscapes, one is as close in essence to the classic scroll painting ideal as Mt. Huang. It is one of China's top ten attractions, and has long been reputed to be the "No. 1 Mountain under Heaven". Mt. Huang is actually a collection of 72 peaks, with the three highest towering more than 6, 000 feet, namely Lianhua Peak, Tiandu Peak and Guangming Peak. Spectacular rocky peaks, oddly shaped pines, crystal-clear mountain springs and sea of clouds are the four wonders of Mt. Huang. You will take cable car to the top, viewing the Beihai scenic area, dreaming pen in the flower, refresh terrace, monkey stone, cloud–dispelling pavilion, flying-over rock, brightness – summit, overlooking the Lotus Flower Peak, Celestial Peak etc, enjoying the grand sun set.
Day 3: Mt. Huang (B/ L/ D)
Enjoy the sun rise in the early morning, then viewing the Lion Peak, Beginning – to – believe peak, Black –tiger Pine Tree. After lunch cable car down to the mountain, sightseeing the Hot-spring Scenic Spot.
Day 4: Mt. Huang / Hongcun / Tunxi / Huangshan City (B/ L/ D)
Morning tour to visit the Hongcun ancient village, which is listed as one of China's top 10 charming villages and together with Xidi Village which was added to UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage List in 2000 and enjoy local flavor. In the afternoon, take a bus to Tunxi District. Roam in the Tunxi ancient street, which with a history over 800 year. After that, visit the famous Ink Stone Factory and Formal Residence of Cheng Dawei, a famous mathematician in ancient China. Besides, you will taste the local Hui Dish at dinner. Then head back for Huangshan City.
Day 5: Huangshan City / Jixi / Jiangcun / Tunxi (B/ L/ D)
Today you will visit three famous persons' hometowns. Firstly, head for Jixi County, which is the President Hu's hometown. Then move on to visit Longchuan ancestral hall, which is the hometown of Chinese famous scholar Hu Shi. You will enjoy the local cuisine—Yi Pin Guo Flavor. After that, go to visit Jiangcun ancient village by bus, which is the hometown of former president Jiang Zemin. Finally, drive back to Tunxi District.
Day 6: Tunxi / Hangzhou (B/ L/ D)
Set off to Hangzhou city, this is regarded as "the heaven in the world". Upon arrival, bus to Longjing village, taste the famous Longjing tea. After lunch, enjoy the boat trip to West Lake. Enclosed within hills, West Lake mirrors the surrounding landscape to form panoramic and great beauty. It is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in China, which in the legend was originally a jewel fallen from heaven. Also, visit Viewing Fish in the Flower Harbor (Huagang Guan Yu). Then roaming in the Ming Qing He Fang Jie Street, then enjoy the evening tour to Wulinmen Square.
Day 7: Hangzhou / Departure (B/ L/ -)
Free at leisure in the morning. After lunch, visit famous Hangzhou Silk Museum, appreciating the wonderful silk show. Proceed to airport for flight to next Destination.
