Golden Dragon Hotel

Golden Dragon Hotel is the first international 4-star tourist hotel in Yunnan Province.The Golden Dragon Hotel is sited in the southern part of Kunming, in a main commercial area. It is within easy walking distance of some restaurants and banks and around 15 minutes drive from the International Trade Centre and Kunming City Centre. The Golden Dragon Hotel Kunming has a large lobby and provides comfortable rooms, a fitness centre and a swimming pool.

Since its opening ten years ago , the hotel has received more than ten thousand traveling business guests among which 30 distinguished guests of the official rank are above vice premier including Premiers respectively of Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Uganda, Finland and Syria, gaining true trust and high praises from all of them. From 1991 to 1993, the hotel topped the first place consecutively in all enterprises of Yunnan tourist industry and was selected as one of the " Top 100 China Tourist Industries ", the only one in Yunnan Province.

In 1995, being a 4-star hotel, Golden Dragon Hotel ranked the fourth place among the four-star hotels in the entire China. In 1995 and 1996, Golden Dragon Hotel was awarded consecutively the title of "Top 50 Star-level Hotels" in China in the nationwide competition of outstanding star-level hotels. At the 19th European Gold-star Prize Meeting held in Spain during April 1994, the European Tourism Association, after a thorough investigation, awarded the Golden Dragon Hotel the Gold Prize of "Best Image and Quality".
