Sofitel Boao (Chinese: 海南博鳌索菲特大酒店; pinyin: Hǎinán Bóáo Suǒfēitè Dà Jiǔdiàn) is a 5-star Asia’s new convention and resort destination which was designated as the permanent convention venue and facility for the prestigious BOAO FORUM for ASIA (BDA).
Sofitel Boao is ideally situated by the Wanquan River, on private Dongyu Island, the central eastern coast of Hainan and next to the BFA International Convention Center. It is only 90 minutes’ drive from Haikou Airport and 170 kilometers from Sanya International Airport.
The resort features 437 spacious rooms, 5 restaurants where you can taste Western and Asia cuisine, 5 bars, a business center and indoor/outdoor spas. Recreation facilities include a freeform swimming pool, outdoor natural hot spring pools, fitness center, tennis courts and a new world class Graham Marsh designed PGA championship golf course.
