Hotan Hotel

(Chinese: 和田；pinyin: hétián): Khotan is the oasis town and was an early center for the spread of Buddhism before Islam arrived in the 9th century. The ancient city of Khotan was formerly the capital of the Yutian kongdom. For centuries, the town's nephrite jade, carpets, and silk have been considered the finest in China, and are still produced in factories across town.
