
Quanzhou is one of the three largest cities of Fujian Province, 60 KM away from Fuzhou. It was praised to be the city of Light by Marco Polo more than 700 years before. As a famous historic and cultural city of China, it's the point of departure for Maritime Silk Road. Zhuxi(a famous Chinese philosopher of Song Dynasty) had said the people walking on the street of Qianzhou were all sages. There are many famous historical sites in Quanzhou such as the Kaiyuan Temple, Anping Bridge- the longest ancient stone bridge in China, and Qingjing Temple-the oldest Islamic Temple in existance in China. Quanzhou is also a famous city as the hometown of oversea Chinese.
