Golden Summit

The Golden Summit is an ideal place for watching the sunrise, cloud seas, Buddha's halo and Holy lights, and other atmospheric phenomena.
Golden Summit (Chinese: 金顶；pinyin: jīndǐng): The Golden Summit of the Emei Mountain an ideal place for watching the sunrise, cloud seas, Buddha's halo and Holy lights, and other atmospheric phenomena. It is one of the nine favorite places for watching the sunrise in China. The scenes on the Golden Summit is situated on the summit of the peak with an elevation of over 3,000 meters above sea level. The Golden summit is the highlight to any visitors trip to Mt. Emei, and standing on the Golden Summit are truly among the clouds, as clouds can be seen above and below them adding to the splendor of the place. The Golden statue of Puxian here is the highest golden Buddha statue in the world. Cast in copper, and plated in gold, the Golden Buddha is 48 meters in hight.
