City God Pavilion (Chinese: 城隍阁; pinyin: Chénghuáng Gé) is so magnificent that enjoys the reputation of one of the four famous pavilions in south of Yangtze River along with Yueyang Pavilion, Yellow Crane Tower and the Pavilion of Prince Teng.
The City God Pavilion is located on the top of Wu Hill, near the Qiantang River and West Lake. Wu Hill boats a lot of odd-shaped rocks and inscriptions, various trees and flowers where tourists can enjoy different scenes in different seasons. Climbing up the top of the pavilion, you will have a great view to the Qiantang River, West Lake and the whole city of Hangzhou while enjoy the zephyr and the potpourri.
In the pavilion, a large-scale three-dimensional hardwood painted sculpture picture "the Flavor Drawing of Hangzhou in Southern Song Dynasty" exhibited in the first floor had been received the highest honor in the history of the Chinese three-dimensional art. The third to the sixth floors are teahouse mostly for leisure and sightsee, and deploys kinds of quality padauk teak furniture.
