Mount Wuyi(Chinese: 武夷山; pinyin: Wǔyí Shān) is renowned for beautiful mountains, vigorous rocks and limpid waters.It's a typical mountain which belongs to Danxia Landform. It extends about 5 kilometers from east to west and about 14 kilometers from north to south. It occupies an area of 70 square kilometers. It's famous for Nine Twists River, thirty-six peaks and ninety-nine caves. The most two renowned peaks are the Great King Peak and Jade maiden Peak. Other scenic spots on Wuyi Mountain include the Little Peach Blossoms Garden (Xiaotaoyuan), Water Screen Cave (Shuiliandong), Floating Fragrance Valley (Liuxiangjian), and A Shot of Sky (Yixiantian). Because many rare animals and plants live there, the area has been designated by the state as a special nature preserve. Among the fine teas grown here, Dahongpao (Big Red Gown) tea is considered one of the best. It is very good place for people to return to the nature and enjoy the beauty of life.
