Flower Path
|
Flower path decorates with all kinds of flowers, grass and trees where the distinguished Tang Dynasty poet Bai Juyi (772-846) once recited poems to eulogize the beautiful peach blossoms. |
Flower path (Chinese: 花径; pinyin: Huā Jìng) is said to be where the distinguished Tang Dynasty poet Bai Juyi (772-846) once recited poems to eulogize the beautiful peach blossoms.
The Flower path is located by the Violin-like Lake, 2 kilometers southwest in the Guling Street. The poem of Bai Juyi “the fragrance in the human world has withered in Aprils, while flowers in the mountain are in full bloom “describes the scenery here. All kinds of rare flowers, lush grass, and green trees form a back drop for a stone tablet in a pavilion inscribed with the characters “Hua Jing”, which was believed to be in the calligraphy of Bai Juyi.
Stand in the front of the Flower path and look back of the Violin-like Lake, the lake rippling, the colorful flowers circling the shore and the mountains reflecting in the water, all of whose form a beautiful and breathtaking painting. |
