Qianling Park

Qianling Park was named for the Qianling Mountain, which is the most famous mountain in southern Guizhou.It comprises an unexpected patch of forested hills to the north of the city.
Qianling Park (Chinese: 黔灵公园；pinyin: Qíanlíng Góngyuán): The Qianling Park, located 1.5 km (0.9 miles) from the center of Guiyang City, is named for the Qianling Mountain, which is the most famous mountain in southern Guizhou. It comprises an unexpected patch of the city and a flagstoned path leads uphill past several shrines,trees hung with red ribbons, and Hongfu Temple. There are more than 1,500 kinds of trees, flowers and plant sand over 1,000 kinds of rare medicinal herbs naturally growing on the mountain. The park contains of six scenic areas: Sanling Bay, Qilin Cave, the Zoo, Qianling Lake, Twin Dams , and Hongfu Temple. On the hilltop above, Kanzhu Pavilion offers nice views of the city. At the foot of the mountain, it is the mirror-like Qianling Lake. More than 500 energetic and enchanting macaques live in the mountain in the park and this add to the features of the park.
