Jiayuguan

It was the gullet of the ancient" Silk Road" and China's final outpost.

Jiayuguan (Chinese: 嘉峪关；pinyin: jiāyǜguān) is located in the middle part of Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, which was traditionally regarded as China's final outpost, the last point of civilization before the desert. It has a population of 200,000 and a total area of 2,935 square meters and many different minority nationalities, such as Han, Hui, Tibetan, Dongxiang, Yugu, Baoan, Hazake, Tu, Sala, Manchu, and Mongolian, live there. You can experince the splendid ancient culture there.
