Kashgar Sunday Bazaar

Kashgar Sunday bazaar is a famous weekly market and a uniquely traditional type of trade found in Xinjiang.
(Chinese: 星期天大集市；pinyin: xīngqītiān dàjíshì): Kashgar Sunday bazaar is a famous weekly market and a uniquely traditional type of trade found in Xinjiang. The traditional bazaar was originally held on Sundays, but it currently is being split into two section. One is livestock bazaar that is only open on Sundays. Thousands of Moslem traders in colorful costumes flood in the bazaar from all directions on horseback, in donkey-drawn carts, on foot, and in every form of motorized vehicle. Here horses are road-tested at a gallop and small herds of sheep are kept in order while waiting to be sold. The other is ordinary bazaar especially busy on Sundays although open every day. If you have a chance to visit Kashgar, don't miss the chance to visit its Sunday Bazaar.
