Swan Lake is a wide area of wetland that is made up of many interconnected small lakes and is the first area for the protection of swans anywhere in China.
(Chinese: 天鹅湖；pinyin: tiānéhú): Swan Lake is a wide area of wetland that is made up of many interconnected small lakes and is the first area for the protection of swans anywhere in China. The area of Swan Lake is about 30,000 hectares. The most common bird is the swan here but condors and geese and ducks are also common in this beautiful place. Altogether there are 128 species of birds which the population number amounts to about 10 million. It is truly a "bird paradise".
