The garden of the Family Zhu

Praised as“the Grand View Garden in southern Yunnan”, the garden of the Family Zhu is a typical garden full of southern China’s architectural style-simple, unsophisticated and elegant.

The garden of the Family Zhu(Chinese:朱家花园；Pinyin：Zhūjiāhuāyuán) locates in Xinjie Street of Jianshui County, Yunnan Province. It is praised as “the Grand View Garden in southern Yunnan”. It was built in the period of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty by the local gentry Zhu Weiqing. Building area is more than 20,000 square meters while 5000 square meters are used to build houses. It is a typical garden full of southern China’s architectural style-simple, unsophisticated and elegant. It contains deep cultural connotations and has a high-level architectural value. Nowadays, the garden of the Family Zhu has become a famous destination for accommodation, traveling and entertainment which is full of rich cultural connotation.
