Yak Meadow（Chinese: 牦牛坪；Pinyin：Máoniúpíng）, is a part of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area. From the east of Liming Public Road, facing Black Water River to the south, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain on the west and the Snow Village on the north, Yak Meadow is a place for Yi and Zang nationalities with an area of 16.6 square kilometers.

Villagers depend on animal husbandry for their livelihood so that the folkway here is unsophisticated and people are friendly. Yak Meadow is a beautiful and fantastic place. Snow mountains and Black River are its neighbors while natural unsophisticated ancient forests are around it.

The scenery of Yak Meadow is changeable as 4 seasons goes by and as beautiful as a painting. Colorful flowers blooming in spring, green carpets made of grasses in summer, flourish lawns here and there in autumn and painting the world in white in winter, Yak Meadow attracts people in different seasons.

The main attractions in Yak Meadow are Yak Snowfield, Black Water Valley, Snow Lake, Yao Lake and Yak Brook and so on.
