	Mount Siguniang
	Mount Sigunian, praised as the Oriental Alps, is precipitous and magnificent, with its peaks covered with snow all the year round. The dense primeval forests, alpine lakes, glaciers and falls all keep their virginal scenes.
Mount Sigunian (Four Ladies Mountain) (Chinese: 四姑娘山；pinyin: sìgūniàngshān): Sat at between 5200m and 6500m above sea level, Four Ladies Mountain sits emphatically on the Aba skyline. With the four peaks perennially covered in snow, the foot of the mountain offers lush forest cover, wild life and alpine meadows. The area consists of Mt. Siguniang, Mt. Balang and Changping, Haizi, Shuangqiao valleys, covering an area of 2,000 sq km. Featuring primitive ecological condition and exquisite scenery, the area is reputed to be the Queen of Sichuan's Mountains and the Oriental Alps Mountain. It is also a center of attention for scientists. It’s also one of the ten mountains in China open to foreign climbers. The region is called the fauna and flora gene bank of Southwest China and there’s little wonder why when you consider that the mountain straddles four different climatic zones.
