Sangqing Mountain (Chinese: 三清山; pinyin: Sānqīng Shān) has high geographic, aesthetics and culture value, combining fantastic natural scenery, especially the forest of granite hills scenery, and Taoism culture with thousand years of history.

Sanqing Mountain is situated on the boundary of Dexing City and Yushan County in the north of Jiangxi Province. This peaceful mountain acclaimed as "The Land of Peach Blossoms" is famous for its three peaks: Yujing Peak, Yuhua Peak, and Yuxu Peak, which resemble the three gods worshipped in Taoism (Sanqing means "Three Pure Ones" in Chinese). The main peak Yujing Peak is 1,817 metres above sea level, where a huge stone named "Shengtian Shi" stand. It is said people who have faith in Taoism will ascend to heaven if they climb this stone.

You will marvel at the unique-shape peaks in Sanqing Mountain, including the Nushen Peak (Goddess Peak), the Yunu Kaihuai Peak, the Python Leave-Mountain Peak, the Three Dragons Leave-Sea Peak and so on.

With beautiful clouds, mist and strange-shaped pine trees, Sanqing Mountain is a fairyland far from the hustle and bustle of city life. Piles of clouds give Sanqing Mountain marvelous scenery at sun rise and set: they become splendidly red, as if half the sky were on fire.
In Sanqing Mountain, there are preservation of the ancient Taoist unique buildings, and rich in content, carefully layout. The Sanqing Palace, as the center of overall layout in the building, is a radiation to the scenery in all places.

There are lots of famous scenic spots in Sanqing Mountain, including the Nanqingyuan Scenic Area, Golden Seashore Scenic Area and the West Seashore Scenic Area and so on.
