With more than 100 springs, Jinan is famous for its springs, among which the Baotu Spring is known not only as the first one in Jinan but also as one of the four famous springs in China. Known as the First Spring under Heaven, the Baotu Spring has a long history of more than 2,600 years. When water gushes out through the three holes, the spring sends out thunderous sounds, and water columns surge upward, looking like spinning wheels. The volume of the gushing water can reach 1.6 square meters per second.
