Wanquan River, named as Chinese Amazon River, is the mother river in Hainan.

Wanquan River (Chinese: 万泉河; pinyin: Wànquánhé) is the mother river in Hainan and famous all the world. Its natural zoology conserved the most perfectly in China tropic zone, named as Chinese Amazon River.

Wanquan River Tourism Zone is situated at Yanhe Road of Qionghai City, 240 kilometers from Sanya. The whole length of Wanquan River is 163 kilometers, originated from Wuzhi Mountain (Five-finger Mountain). Marvelous peaks, flourishing coconut trees and charming water scenery are along the upper reaches while along the lower reaches are densely covered ports and people enjoy themselves so much by the scenes full of pastoral characteristics.
