Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Guilin (-, L, -)
Upon arrival Guilin, you will be met at Guilin Airport or Guilin Train Station by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel by the private car. Then visit the Fubo Hill which reaches the height of 213 meters (698.8 feet) and emerges 62 meters (203.4 feet) above the water. In the park, you can appreciate "Thousands Buddha Cave", "Iron Bell Pavilion" and reach the top of the hill to have a panoramic view of the whole city. Stay in Guilin overnight.
Day 2: Sanjiang (B, L, -)
Pick up from the Hotel in Guilin early in the morning. Drive to Sanjiang which is 130km from Guilin to see the exquisite Wind and Rain Bridge built by Dong people, which group is good at tenon-joint skill for constructions. Then step into the Dong village to enjoy how the Dong people lead their life. Stay in Sanjiang overnight.
Day 3: Longsheng (B, L, D)
Early in the morning drive from Sanjiang to Longsheng which is 90km from Sanjiang, for about 1.5h. Full day excursion to the Rice Terraces in Longsheng for the sightseeing of Ethnic culture. The terraces resemble the great chains or ribbons as they meander from the foot to the top of the hills. This smart construction makes the best use of the limited arable land and water resources in the mountainous area. The Terraces were first started in the Yuan Dynasty and finished in the Qing Dynasty by the Zhuang people. Stay in local village overnight.
Day 4: Guilin Incity Tour (B, L, D)
Free at leisure in the morning untill drive back to Guilin city. After come back to Guilin, visit the Reed Flute Cave, which got its name by the reeds used for making flutes and pipes growing at its entrance. The cave is known as "the Palace of the Nature Arts" and regarded as the most impressive cave in Guilin city for the remarkable limestone formation with imaginative lighting. Stay in Guilin overnight.
Day 5: Li River Cruise (B, L, D)
Pick up from your hotel early in the morning. Then drive about 30 to 40 minutes to get to the Zhujiang Pier for a 4-hour' cruise on Li River with 56km, the highlight of sightseeing tour in Guilin with lunch aboard. You will enjoy the beautiful mountains, verdant fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. Disembark in the old town Yangshuo which is famous for its spectacular views of hills and rivers and bar streets. In the afternoon explore the old town freely. Stay in Yangshuo overnight.
Day 6: Yangshuo (B, L, D)
After breakfast, your tour guide will show you around the peaceful countryside for about 2hour by bicycle, taking in local villages and rice paddies along the Yulong River which is a major tributary of Li River and flows through some of the most beautiful Karst (limestone) scenery near Yangshuo and local people use rafts as daily transportation up and down the river between house, markets, and rice paddies. On the way you might be invited into a villager's family to experience the rural life in China or you can sit on the reclining chair on the raft, enjoying an all around view of the natural, rural life down the river. Then ride bicycle back to the hotel. Stay in Yangshuo overnight.
Day 7: Leave Guilin (B, -, -)
Be transferred back to Guilin. Then go to the Elephant Trunk Hill, a hill of 50 meters high, which is regarded as the symbol of Guilin city because of its natural beauty. Everyone can see easily that the whole rock looks like a giant elephant leisurely sipping water from the river with its long trunk. Be transferred to Guilin airport or Guilin train station for your departure. Transfer via: Flight-can be arranged by us, however is not included in this quotation.
