Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Guilin (-, L, -)

Upon arrival Guilin, you will be met at Guilin Airport or Guilin Train Station by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel by the private car. Then drive 3 hours to Ziyuan County, then go to a local guest house in Zijiang.

Day 2: Ziyuan Bajiaozhai (B, L, -)

Early in the morning, visit Bajiaozhai Mountain. Bajiaozhai Mountain covers an area of more than 800 square kilometres and the top of the peak covers 3,375 square meters. High in the clouds, the towering peak looks like the head and the tail of a dragon. The 7 peaks around look like horns of beasts, hence the name of Bajiaozhai. Zijiang and Bajiaozhai are in typical red sandstone formation. Bajiaozhai has become a national forest park. Then back to a local guest house in Zijiang.

Day 3: Guilin Incity Tour (B, L, -)

Drive back to Guilin in the morning. Drive to the Yao Mountain, which is the highest mountain in Guilin City, and go to the top by chairlift. You will be relaxed in a lush forest, soothing your mind and enjoy the tremendous view with all peaks when you reach the top. Then move on to the Elephant Trunk Hill, a hill of 50 meters high, which is regarded as the symbol of Guilin city because of it’s natural beauty. Everyone can see easily that the whole rock looks like a giant elephant leisurely sipping water from the river with its long trunk. Finally, back to the hotel in Guilin.

Day 4: Li River Cruise (B, L, -)

Pick up from your hotel early in the morning. Then drive about 30-40 minutes to get to the Zhujiang Pier for a 4-hour' cruise on Li River with 56km, the highlight of sightseeing tour in Guilin with lunch aboard. You will enjoy the beautiful mountains, verdant fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. Disembark in the old town Yangshuo which is famous for its spectacular views of hills and rivers and bar streets. In the afternoon on the way back to Guilin visit the Shangri-La Park, where you can spend the day learning all that Yangshuo used to be like. Peach blossoms everywhere, tribal dances and village ‘war cries’ are all displayed by these people as you take a small barge down the little lake.
Be transferred to Guilin airport or Guilin train station for your departure.
