Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Guilin (-, L, -)
Upon arrival Guilin, you will be met at Guilin Airport or Guilin Train Station by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel by the privite car. Then visit the Seven Star Park which locates at the east bank of Li River. It covers an area of more than 120 hectares (297 acres) and is the largest comprehensive park with mass scenery in Guilin City. The park was so named because of the seven peaks (the four peaks of Putuo Mountain and three of Crescent Mountain) inside resemble the form of the Big Dipper constellationpavilions. Platforms are all through the park and you can see Giant Pandas in the zoo inside the park. Then drive back to the hotel.
Day 2: Guilin Incity Tour (B, L, -)
Pick up from your hotel and have a nice city tour. Visit the Reed Flute Cave, which is located 5 km northwest of Guilin city and got its name by the reeds used for making flutes and pipes growing at its entrance. The cave is known as "the Palace of the Nature Arts" and regarded as the most impressive cave in Guilin city for the remarkable limestone formation with imaginative lighting. Then move on to the Elephant Trunk Hill, a hill of 50 meters high, which is regarded as the symbol of Guilin city because of it's natural beauty. Everyone can see easily that the whole rock looks like a giant elephant leisurely sipping water from the river with its long trunk. Then continue the tour to the Fubo Hill which reaches the height of 213 meters (698.8 feet) and emerges 62 meters (203.4 feet) above the water. In the park. You can appreciate "Thousands Buddha Cave", "Iron Bell Pavilion" and reach the top of the hill to have a panoramic view of the whole city. Then drive back to the hotel.
Day 3: Guilin Li River Cruising (B, -, -)
Pick up from your hotel early in the morning. Then drive about 30 to 40 minutes to get to the Zhujiang Pier for a 4-hour' cruise on Li River with 56km which is the highlight of sightseeing tour in Guilin with lunch aboard. You will enjoy the beautiful mountains, verdant fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. Disembark in the old town Yangshuo, a county of Guilin which is famous for its spectacular views of hills and rivers and bar streets. In the afternoon explore the old town freely. Stay in Yangshuo ovetnight.
Day 4: Leave Guilin (B, -, -)
After breakfast, your tour guide will show you around the peaceful countryside for about 2hour by bicycle, taking in local villages and rice paddies along the Yulong River which is a major tributary of Li River and flows through some of the most beautiful Karst (limestone) scenery near Yangshuo. On the way you might be invited into a villager's family to experience the rurual life in China. Then ride bicycle back to the hotel and leisure in the afternoon.
Be transferred to Guilin airport or Guilin train station for your departure.
