Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Hubei Guiyuan Buddhist Temple, Heptachord Terrace, Yellow Crane Tower, Hubei Provincial Museum, East Lake Park (-, L, D)
Today you will enjoy Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei province and the biggest hub city in central China.
You will start your trip with visiting the Guiyuan Buddhist Temple (Temple of Original Purity), one of the four famous biggest Buddhist temples, owning to its perfect construction, spiffy sculptures and abundant collection of Buddhist doctrines.
Later you will go to the Heptachord Terrace (Guqin Tai) on the bank of the Moon Lake, where you will pick up the beautiful scenery of the stone terrace, courtyard, teahouse.
Then visit the famous historic tower—Yellow Crane Tower, on Sheshan (Snake Hill), at the bank of Yangtze River. It enjoys the fame of "'The First Scenery under Heaven" and is considered one of the Four Great Towers of China. You can obtain a fine view of the Yangtze River from the top of the tower.
After having a rest in the Yellow Crane Tower with nice breeze from the Yangtze River, you will go to Hubei Provincial Museum to enjoy the historical and cultural relics and a replica of the Chime Bells played by musicians wearing ancient clothes.
Finally, cruise on East Lake ( the largest lake within a city in China), which locates on the south bank of the Yangtze River and in the east suburb of Wuchang. Because of its winding banks and crisscrossing ponds and brooks, it is also called "a lake with 99 bays."
