Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Xiangfan (-, L, D)

Upon arrival in Xiangfan, our tour guide will meet you at Xiangfan Airport and transfer you to your hotel near the foot of the Wudang Mountain by the private car. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

Day 2 : Wudang Mountain, Golden Hall, Purple Cloud Palace, Nanyan Temple, Prince Slope (B, L, D)

Today you will visit the Wudang Mountain, a famous scenic spot and the Taoist Holy Land in China. You will reach the Golden Hall (Jindian or Jinding) by cable car. Golden Hall situates at the top of Tianzhu Peak (1612m) and is one of the biggest glided copper temples in China.

After lunch, Visit Nanyan Temple (Nanyan gong). The whole structure of the temple - hall-pillars, beams, arches, gates and windows - is constructed out of rock of the 36 cliffs and was reputed as the Holy Place of obtaining enlightenment of the Taoists.

Later you will move to the Purple Cloud Palace, the most magnificent and best-preserved Taoist building in Wudang Mountain. The mirage and tea ceremony in the Prince Slope can bring you an unusual experience.

Day 3 : Shennongjia Nature Reserve (B, L, D)

Today's tour starts with visiting the Shennongjia Nature Reserve. Shennongjia Nature Reserve is a nature forest with marvelous natural scenery, rare foliages, endangered animals and famous legends. You can wander in the forest to experience the elegant waterfalls and (maybe) get a glimpse of the mysterious "Wild Men". Besides, you also can pick up the legend of Shennong's Ladder who was believed to be one of the two ancestors of Chinese people.

Day 4 : Shennongding Peak, Yichang (B, L, D)

Today you will visit the Shennongding Peak, the highest mountain of Shennongjia, 3,105 m (about 10,188 ft) high, above sea level. Watch the clouds nestling at the peak where ridges stretch into the distance. After the trip, you will be driven to Yichang and our guide will transfer you to the hotel in Yichang. Just have a good rest and a delicious dinner.

Day 5 : Three Gorges Dam (B, -, -)

This morning, you tour starts with a visit to the Three Gorges Dam. The Three Gorges Dam is a hydroelectric river dam that spans the Yangtze River and is the largest hydro-electric power station in the world. After the visit of the Three Gorges Dam, you will have a rest and then our guide will escort you to Xiangfan airport for your flight to your next destination.
