Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Zhangjiajie (-, L, -)

As soon as you arrive in Zhangjiajie airport, our guide will pick you up and then transfer you to your hotel. Relax yourself to recover from the jet lag.

Day 2: Drifting on Mengdong River (B, L, -)

After the breakfast, your trip will start with visiting Wang's Village, a famous town known as Furong Town because it is the place for the shooting of a famous film "Furongzhen" acted by Liu Xiaoqing who is very famous throughout the world. The street road is covered by stone slabs, and the ages washed them to have a cold shining surface. Take a stroll on the street and taste the speciality of Xiangxi—Rice Bean Curd.

Then go to visit the special building of Tujia ethnic group, the Hanging Watchtower and the Waterfall Tower. After that you will get a chance to experience the drift on Mengdong River. It is renowned as "The first float in China" with beautiful sights on both riverbank and crystal, clear and rushing water. Later you will enjoy your lunch and drive to Fenghuang Ancient City.

Day 3: Fenghuang Ancient City (B, -, -)

After your breakfast, you will go to visit the most beautiful city as well as the most famous national historical, cultural and picturesque city - Fenghuang Ancient City. You will ramble over the ancient flagstone street and watch the unique and classical wooden buildings alongside the street.

Then go to visit Shen Congwen's Residence, known as the author of a famous literature which describes this beautiful city. Later you will go through the street full of national crafts and take a boat on the Tuojiang River.

After that you will go to Guzhang County to taste Maojian Tea. Guzhang is famous for abundant of teas and the Maojian Tea ranks the top ten famous tea in China. After drinking tea and having your lunch, we will drive back to Zhangjiajie.

Day 4: Tianmen Mountain, Tujia Folk Custom Park (B, -, -)

This morning you will begin your trip with a visit to the Tianmen Mountian after breakfast. Tianmen Mountain is a famous mountain first recorded in the history of Zhangjiajie. For long time being, Tianmen Mountain not only attracts the attention of the people by its miraculous and unique geographic landform and unparalleled natural landscape, but also well-known for its profound cultural connotations and colorful humanistic site. It is revered as the soul of culture and spirit of Zhangjiajie and reputed as the Number one Miraculous Mountain on the west of Hunan. You will take the longest one- way recycling passenger cableway in the world to visit other wonders of the mountain, such as the Heaven-linking Avenue, Tianmen cave and Bonsai garden in the air. During the running of cableway, the landscape transforms into a kaleidoscope.

After visiting the Tianmen Mountain and finishing your lunch, you will go to visit the Tujia Folk Custom Park. Tujia Folk Custom Park is mainly built to demonstrate Tujia people's folk custom in various aspects such as architecture, food, agriculture, military art etc.. Most of the buildings are constructed of wood and stone with the characteristics of carved girder and painted columns, upturned eaves. You can also enjoy the programs in the park which is of splendid culture and magnificent folk custom.

In the evening you will be driven to Zhangjiajie airport for your next flight.
