Tour Features: Drifting on “The first float in China”—Mengdong River to experience the excitement, visiting the beautiful Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Mt. Tianzi as well as the picturesque Five Kilometers Gallery Stream and the celestially relique--Tujia Village, you will have a memory tour to Hunan.

Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Zhangjiajie (-, L, -)

As soon as you arrive at Zhangjiajie, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel and then you can have a good rest.

Day 2: Mengdong River Drifting (B, L, -)

You will take a car to the Mengdong River; it takes about 2 hours there. Mengdong River, renowned as "The first float in China", boasts lots of beautiful sights on both bank as well as the crystal, clear and rushing water. You will drift on the Mengdong River and experience the excitement.

Later you will go to visit Wang's Village, a famous town known as Furong Town as it is the place for the shooting of a famous film "Furongzhen" acted by Liu Xiaoqing who is very famous throughout the world. The street road is covered by stone slabs, and the ages washed them to have a cold shining surface. Take a stroll on the street and taste the speciality of Xiangxi—Rice Bean Curd and then go to visit the special building of Tujia ethnic, the Hanging Watchtower and the Waterfall Tower. After finish all your trips, our guide will transfer you back to Zhangjiajie.

Day 3: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (B, -, -)

Today you will visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is a paradise which boasts lots of beauties and wonders, such as the pillar-like formations, the grotesque peaks, the colorful ribbonlike stream, the pleasant climate and so on.

Firstly you will take a cable car to the first village of Tujia group—Huangshi Fort. Standing by the Huangshi Fort, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Later you will descend by cable car and then take a stroll through one of the most beautiful valleys in the world—the Golden Whip Stream. The scenery there is the most enchanting in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park; it is renowned as "a stream of bright watercolor painting, and a creator of ancient legends". Its unique and mysterious produces lots of astonishment to the tourists. Stream-circling Valley is a beautiful alluvion formed by the Golden Whip Stream and meets with three other streams. All the natural sceneries are listed in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. After finish all the trip, we will drive to Suoxi Valley and stay there overnight.

Day 4: Mt. Tianzi, Five Kilometers Gallery Stream (B, -, -)

You will have a full-day excursion to Mt. Tianzi primarily. Mt. Tianzi is distributed with nearly 100 natural platforms for sightseeing, more than 2000 stone peaks and dozens of waterfalls and springs. The sea of clouds, the wavelike stone ranges etc. are spectacular. On the cable car, you can see lots of waterfalls and winding streams. The sceneries are wonderful and change all times. You will marvel at the ancient battlefield, all the peaks there are lofty and with a height of more than hundreds of meters.

After descending, you will go to visit the Helong Park, watching the large statue of Helong marshal. And then take a stroll in the Five Kilometers Gallery Stream which looks like a beautiful portrait of mountains and waterways. Later you will go and drink Tujia group's tea which is famous all over the world and have a relaxation.

Day 5: Tujia Palace (B, -, -)

Today you will go to visit Tujia Village. Tujia Palace is known as the place of celestially relique. The most remarkable features of Tujia Minority is the Hanging Watchtower, originality and majestic, with beautiful flower carving on windows. You will also visit the Tujia group's castle and their dance beckons with the hands. All of these will fulfill your appetite to Tujia culture. You can taste the delicious food of Tujia group and bring some unique things home for memory.

In the evening you will be transfered to airport for your next flight.
