Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Zhangjiajie (-, L, -)

Today you will take a plane to Zhangjiajie, when you arrive, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Relax yourself and have a good rest.

Day 2: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (B, L, -)

Today you will visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is a paradise which boasts lots of beauties and wonders, such as the pillar-like formations, the grotesque peaks, the colorful ribbonlike streams, the pleasant climate and so on.

Firstly you will take a cable car to the first village of Tujia group—Huangshi Fort. Standing by the Huangshi Fort, you can can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

Later you will descend by cable car and then take a stroll through one of the most beautiful valleys in the world—the Golden Whip Stream. The scenery there is the most enchanting in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park; it is renowned as “a stream of bright watercolor painting, and a creator of ancient legends”. Its unique and mysterious produces lots of astonishment to the tourists. Stream-circling Valley is a beautiful alluvion formed by the Golden Whip Stream and meets with three other streams. All the natural sceneries are listed in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. When finish all the trip, we will drive to Suoxi Valley and stay there overnight.

Day 3: Yellow Dragon Cave, Mt. Tianzi, Five Kilometers Gallery Stream (B, L, D)

This morning you will begin to visit the Yellow Dragon Cave, honored as “magical karst cave both in China and in the world”. The cave is of good beneficial air circulation, and the tally of natural wonders in the cave includes: one natural reservoir, 2 underground rivers, 3 pools, 4 waterfalls, 13 grand halls, 96 passageways and hundreds of thousands of stalagmites, columns and stalactites.

Later you will take a cable car up and down the Mt. Tianzi in the afternoon. Mt. Tianzi is distributed with nearly 100 natural platforms for sightseeing, more than 2000 stone peaks and dozens of waterfalls and springs. The sea of clouds, the wavelike stone ranges etc are spectacular. On the cable car, you can see lots of waterfalls and winding streams. The sceneries are wonderful and changs all times. You will marvel at the ancient battlefield, all the peaks there are lofty and with a height of more than hundreds of meters.

After descending, you will take a stroll in the Five Kilometers Gallery Stream which looks like a beautiful portrait of mountains and waterways. You will stay in the downtown of Zhangjiajie overnight.

Day 4: Dayong Town--multi-ethnic culture garden (B, L, D)

Today you will visit the multi-ethnic culture garden—Dayong Town. Dayong Town is composed of Zhangjiajie Museum area and Zhangjiajie multinational immaterial culture showing hall. The hall mainly consists of village of Tujia Nationality, Miao Nationality, Dong Nationality, Yao Nationality and Bai Nationality. Besides, Dayong Town has collected a great deal of precious living articles and top folk actors performing in the folk art theaters. After visiting the Dayong Town, you can see both simple and unsophisticated suspended buildings of the ethnic groups and learn various folk cultures.

After finishing your trip and tasting the delicious food of the minority nationals, our guide will transfer you to the airport.
