Tour Features: Mount Tai, Three Confucian and Baotu Spring are considered as the three most famous attractions in Shandong Province. On this tour, you can pay a visit to all of them. Visit three cities: Tai'an, Qufu, Jinan. Tai'an is known for Mount Tai. Qufu is the hometown of Confucius. Jinan is known as "The Spring City".

Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Mount Tai (-, -, D)

You will be welcomed by your tour guide at Jinan Airport. Then after 1 hour drive, you will arrive in today’s destination-Tai’an, where renowned Mt.Tai lies.

You will enjoy the amazing scenery of Mt. Tai by funicular. It was regarded as pre-eminent among China's Five Holy Mountains. 72 Chinese emperors of various dynasties made pilgrimages to Mt. Tai for sacrificial and other ceremonial purposes.

Day 2: Three Confucius: Confucian Temple, Confucian Family Mansion and Confucian Cemetery (B, L, D)

Drive to Qufu (about 2 hours from Tai'an). It is the hometown of Confucius (551-479 BC), who is a great thinker, statesman and educator in China's history, and founder of the Confucian school of philosophy.

Today you will visit Three Confucius - Confucian Temple, Confucian Family Mansion and Confucian Cemetery. They were made part of the world cultural heritage list in 1994.

At first you will visit Confucian Temple, which has been the holy place for offering sacrifices to Confucius over the last 2,500 years. Then continue to visit Confucian Family Mansion. It’s the official and private residences of Confucius' descendants. Then last stop is Confucian Cemetery, which has served as the family graveyard of Confucius and his descendants for more than 2,300 years.

Day 3: Daming Lake Park, Baotu Spring (B, L, -)

Drive to Jinan. It will take you 3.5 hours. Today you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Daming Lake and Baotu Spring.

At first you will take a stroll in the Daming Lake Park. It is reputed as the pearl of the city of springs-Jinan.

Then go to see the fantastic Baotu Spring, which is praised to be Number One Spring under the Heaven.

Finally, your tour guide will transfer you to Jinan Airport for your next destination.
