Tour Features: By this tour, you will visit the most famous attractions in Sichuan Province, including
Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic Area,

This tour also includes other interesting places like Songpan Ancient City, Ganhaizi Lake, Minshan Mountain and Chuanzhu Temple. By visiting these places will help you know more about Sichuan, "the Land of Abundance", historically and culturally.
Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Chengdu (-, -, -)
Upon arrival in Chengdu, your tour guide will meet you at Chengdu Airport and transfer you to your hotel by private car. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this amazing city for an adventure on your own.
Day 2: Jiuzhaigou Valley (-, L, -)
After breakfast, you will have an excursion from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou Valley (about 450 km, ten-hour dirve). After climb over the Cuckoo mountain, you will reach Jiuzhaigou Valley. Stay at Jiuzhaigou Valley overnight.
Day 3: Jiuzhaigou Valley (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will have a full-day tour to the fantastic view of the fairyland-Jiuzhaigou Valley and it starts with a visit to Rize Valley, which contains the largest variety of sites. You will enjoy the Primeval Forest, a preserved ancient woodland with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and cliffs in front of it.
Then you will go to Swan Lake, a picturesque lake named for its visiting swans and ducks, and Grass Lake, a shallow lake covered in intricate vegetation patterns.
Then, take a look at Panda Lake which features curious color patterns of blue and green and Pearl Shoal which is a wide, gently sloping area of active calcareous tufa deposition covered in a thin sheet of flowing water.
Then you will move to Zechawa Valley and enjoy Long Lake, the highest, largest and deepest lake in Jiuzhaigou, measuring 7.5 km in length and up to 103 m in depth. Five-Color Pool is one of the smallest but most spectacular bodies of water in Jiuzhaigou lakes.
Finally you will go to Nuorilang Waterfalls in Shuzheng Valley. They are 20 m high and 320 m wide and reportedly the widest highland waterfall in China, and one of the symbols of Jiuzhaigou.
Stay at Jiuzhaigou Valley overnight.
Day 4: Songpan Ancient City, Ganhaizi Lake, Galitai Glassland, Minshan Mountain, Xishen Cave, Huanglong Cave, Chuanzhu Temple (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will visit Songpan Ancient City, built during Tang Dynasty and was later rebuilt as a garrison post to guard a 2,500 m (8,200 ft) mountain pass during Ming Dynasty. It was also an important economic and trading center for horse and tea exchange between Sichuan, Gansu, Qinghai and Tibet.
Afterwards, visit Ganhaizi Lake, at the intersection of Songpan and Jiuzhaigou. It features pure, tranquil waters, lush forests and lofty mountains. Then you will go to Galitai Glassland, a grassland which spreads to the horizon and is an important place for grazing.
After lunch, you will be driven to Huanglong, "Fairy Land on Earth". On the way, you will see the main peak of Minshan Mountain-the pyramidal summit of Xuebaoding (Snow-Treasure Peak) in the distance from the height of 4,000 m. Your tour starts with a visit to Yingbin (welcoming guests) Ponds, a group of exquisite, crystal clear ponds, which have different sizes, and scatter in proper orders. Those ponds are as smooth as mirrors and in good days, the reflections of sun, mountains and trees in the ponds are very colorful.
Then, visit Xishen Cave, which once was an outlet of ancient glacier hundreds of millions of years ago. The entrance is 1 m high and 1.5 m wide with yellow and white stalactites, and the depth is unknown.
Then you will go to Huanglong Cave, with different kinds of stalactites and stalagmites. It is the largest travertine cave in China and a natural ice cave with the longest frozen period in China. The flowing water appears as golden ripples dazzling in the sun. Known to the locals as “Golden Sand on Earth” and the Huanglong travertine bank is the largest and most magnificent in the world.
After the tour, you will go back to Chuanzhu Temple which was built to memorize Li Bing and Er Lang. There are more than one thousand statues, from the Southern and Northern Dynasty (386-581) to the Song (960-1279) and Ming (1644-1911) Dynasty, carved on the cliff behind the temple.
Day 5: Chengdu (B, -, -)
After breakfast, you will be driven back to Chengdu along the Minjiang River upstream via Jiuzhaigou, Pingwu, Jiangyou and Mianyang. Stay at Chengdu overnight.
Day 6: Leshan Giant Buddha, Emei Mountain (B, L, -)
After breakfast, you will be driven to Leshan City, 154 km (96 miles) from Chengdu.
Firstly, you will visit Leshan Giant Buddha, which is the largest carved stone Buddha in the world and is featured in poetry, song and story. Then, visit Lingyun Temple at the right back of the giant Buddha's head, initially built in the Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in the early years of the Qing Dynasty. Then you will walk on the Nine Turns Staircase, which is a steep, narrow set of steps down to the toes of the Buddha. You can really appreicate his huge 8 m (26 ft) feet.
In the afternoon, you will be driven to Emei Mountain (39 km from Leshan). Your tour will start visiting Xiujia Waterfall, which looks like a long white ribbon hanging on the mountain, running from the sky.
Then, visit Yingbin Tan where you can see the name "Emei Mountain", written by a famous Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty.
Finally, you will go to Baoguo Temple, the largest temple on the mountain. Build during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Baoguo Temple is home to the Mt. Emei Buddhist Society.
Stay at Emei Mountain overnight.
Day 7: Emei Mountain (B, -, -)
Today you will continue your tour to Emei Mountain. Firstly, you will visit Wannian Temple, the oldest surviving building on Emei which dates to 1611 and houses a famed golden statue of Puxian.
Then, visit Qingying Pavilion, built in Tang Dynasty (877 A.D.), sets in lowland forest at the junction of two streams. Afterwards, you will go to Yixiantian Gorge, a narrow part between two huge steep mountains. When you look up, the sky seems to be a line.
At last, you will go to see the largest wild monkey natural reserve.
After the tour, you will be driven back to Chengdu and your personal guide will escort you to Chengdu Airport for your flight to your next destination.
