Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Ancient Culture Street, Tianhou Palace, Nanshi Food Street, Five Great Roads (-, L, -)
In the morning, our guide will meet you in the hotel. You will take train to Tianjin. When you arrive at the Tianjin station, our guide will transfer you to the Ancient Culture Street and begin your tour in Tianjin.
The Ancient Culture Street is the best place to know about Tianjin’s old cultural traditions and customs. Having a history of more than 600 years, the Ancient Culture Street boasts lots of classical architectures which are in the Qing Dynasty architectural style. Walking by these buildings with grey walls and decorated with colorful streamers is like walking into the past.
Later you will visit the Tianhou Palace in the street which is one of the three major Tianhou Palace in China and the best oldest architecture preserved in Tianjin. Various wonderful performances with Chinese characteristics are often held here.
After visiting the palace, you will be transferred to the extremely alluring spots, Nanshi Food Street. Over 100 restaurants housed in various palace-like buildings and this “food castle” will offer you every kind of delicacy. You will have a chance to taste the delicious “three greatest specialties in Tianjin” here. The most famous specialty, Go Believe, will be served as your lunch today.
After lunch you will be transferred to the Five Great Roads. Taking a carriage to visit the Five Great Roads, you will marvel at the buildings there. More than 2,000 gardenesque houses of Britain, France, Germany and other countries’ style can be seen here.
When finish your trip, you will take a train back to Beijing.
