Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Ancient Culture Street, Tianhou Palace, Haihe Bund Park (-, L, D)

This morning you will visit the Ancient Street. The Ancient Culture Street is the best place to know about Tianjin’s old cultural traditions and customs. Having a history of more than 600 years, the Ancient Culture Street boasts lots of classical architectures which are in the Qing Dynasty architectural style. Walking by these buildings with grey walls and decorated with colorful streamers is like walking into the past.

Later you will visit the Tianhou Palace in the street which is one of the three major Tianhou Palace in China and the best oldest architecture preserved in Tianjin. Various wonderful performances with Chinese characteristics are often held here.

After visiting the palace, you will be transferred to Tanggu and visit the Haihe Bund Park. Like a jade belt attached to the river banks, Haihe Bund Park is an ideal place for pleasure and rest. Verdant trees, beautiful blossoms, green lawns, long corridors under ivy-laced frames, fountains, and sculptures decorate the park as an enchanting place.

Later you will visit the Wanghialou Church at the north bank of the Haihe River which is one of China’s cultural relics. When finish your trip, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Panshan Mountain, Solitary Joy Temple (B, L, D)

This morning you will be transferred to Jixian County (about 2 hours) and visit the Panshan Mountain. Panshan Mountain enjoys the reputation of “the most beautiful mountain east of Beijing”, just like a natural botanical garden. The Emperor Qianlong had visited Panshan Mountain for eight times and gave a very high appraisal to the mountain. The mountain has many sheer and attractive precipices and grotesquely shaped rocks and boulders. Besides, 72 temples of all sizes and Buddhism schools which boast rich cultural relics can be found here.

After descending and having your lunch, you will go to visit the Solitary Joy Temple, one of the oldest and best-preserved tall wooden structures. Visiting the temple, you will see the famous “Eleven-face Kwan-yin” which is noted as one of the largest painted clay sculptures in China.

Stay in Jixian County tonight.

Day 3: Huangyaguan Great Wall (B, -, -)

After breakfast, you will take a bus to the Huangyaguan Great Wall and enjoy your trip there. Huangyaguan Great Wall is considered to be a miniature of the Great Wall, possessing many features including antiquity, grandness, steepness and gracefulness, and it is regarded as an 'Impregnable Pass' in Tianjin. It is strong and overwhelming for its walls and towers built on mountain ridge with an average altitude of 738 meters; it’s jumping its way up and down as a linkage between the cliff and crags on the mountain; it’s beautiful and with a long history.

When finish your trip, our guide will transfer you to the station and you will take a train back to Beijing.
