Tour Features: By this tour, you can get a chance to witness the most wonderful scenery created by nature- The Heavenly Lake, which formed 2 million years ago as a result of glaciations. You can also visit a famous summer resort -Southern Pasture, and take some pictures of the snow-capped mountain there.

Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1: the Heavenly Lake (-, L, -)

Today you will be met in your hotel in Ürümqi and have a full-day excursion to visit the Heavenly Lake, a crescent-shaped lake surrounded by lush meadows and dense pine forests. It stands at an elevation of 1,980 m (6,500 ft), about 110 km east of Ürümqi. Enclosed by snow-capped peaks, including the majestic Bogda Peak, this mountain lake is named "the Pearl of Heavenly Mountain" (Tianshan Mountain). Walking around the deep-blue lake is the best way to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then you will be transferred back to Ürümqi.

Day 2: Southern Pasture (-, L, -)

Today you will have an excursion to Southern Pasture, 75 km away from Ürümqi. Located in the Southern Mountain, it is a famous summer resort with forest of emerald green spruce rounds it while flowers, flocks and herds strew it. Kazakh inhabit and graze here in summer. If you are lucky enough, you might be able to see the amazing horse-racing and traditional Kazakh dancing. West White Poplar Gully is one of the most typical sights and you can see the bright snow-capped Karawuquntag Mountain, the wandering valleys, hear the gurgle of springs, and smell the lush spruce trees.
