Viking Century Sky is Viking River Cruises' largest ship on Yangtze River yet. This 5-star standard ship measures 126.8 meters in length and 17.2 meters in width with a capacity of more than 300 passengers.

Viking Century Sky and Century Sun were newly built in recent 2 years. They are the first class cruises in Yangtze River with 5 floor height rotating hall, 2 sightseeing elevator, and super size private balcony. And the integrated bathroom in each cabin is unique amongst all the cruises. For the design, Viking River Cruises called on Oslo-based architects Yran & Storbraaten of Seabourn and Silversea fame.

Cruise Itinerary:

Downstream (Chongqing->Wuhan )
Day01 Pre-boarding
Board your deluxe M.V. Century Sky Ship in Chongqing and settle into your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable cruise downstream.

Day02 Depart Chongqing, Shibao Pagoda
Depart from Chongqing at 7:30am. In the afternoon, go ashore to visit the magnificent 12-story wooden pagoda known as the "Pearl of the Yangtze" in scenic Shibaozhai.

Day03 Three Gorges/Daning River
Cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge, which is framed by steep mossy cliffs. Then, sail on through Wu Gorge, celebrated for its 12 peaks. After that, transfer to a small cruiser for an exciting excursion on Daning River to view its breathtaking small gorges. Next, sail through Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of all the gorges. Finally, pass through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship Lock.

Day04 Three Gorges Dam Site
This morning, stop at Sandouping to view the historic Three Gorges Dam project, the largest hydroelectric project in the world.

Day05 Viking School
Today you will enjoy a excursion to the “Shashi” Viking School and experience the life there.

Day06 Arrive in Wuhan
You will arrive in Wuhan this morning and disembarkation at 09:00am.

Upstream (Wuhan ->Chongqing)
Day01 Depart Wuhan
Board your deluxe M.V. Century Star Ship and settle into your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable cruise upstream. Depart from Wuhan in the night about 10:00 pm.

Day02 YueYang Tower and Tea Garden
Today you will be in shore and visit the Yue Yang Tower and the Tea Garden. Yue Yang Tower has long enjoyed the reputation of being the "first tower under heaven", as the Dongting Lake is known as the "first water under heaven." The architectural style of Yueyang Tower is quite unique. Visit the Local Tea Garden, taste the fresh tea.

Day03 Three Gorges Dam Site
Stop at San Dou Ping this morning to see the historic Three Gorges Dam project. Reboard the ship and sail through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship lock before continuing through Xiling Gorge, the longest one of the famed Three Gorges. Xiling Gorge is also known for its danger by its numerous reefs and odd-shaped stones existing in rapid shoals.

Day04 Three Gorges/Daning River
Early this morning, delight in Wu Gorge's deep zigzagging valley. At Wushan, transfer to a motorboat for an exciting excursion on either Daning River or Shennong Stream to view their breathtaking small gorges. Reboard the ship and soon pass through the dramatic grandeur of Qutang Gorge, the shortest, narrowest and most spectacular of the Three Gorges which is framed by steep cliffs.

Day05 Shibao Pagoda
Today's shore excursion shows the Snow-Jade Cave and the Shibao Pagoda. Snow Jade Cave is a fantastic underground labyrinth of streams and caverns featuring beautiful stalagtites.

Day06 Arrive in Chongqing
This morning you will cruise through now-gentle countryside to Chongqing, where you disembark the ship at 09:00am.
