Downstream (Chongqing->Yichang)
Day 1 Friday
Board your deluxe M.V. Oriental Emperor Ship and settle into your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable cruise downstream. Depart Chongqing in the night about 9:00 pm.

Day 2 Saturday
This afternoon, go ashore to visit Snow-Jade Cave. Tonight, you are our guests at the captain's cocktail party.

*Alternate shore excursion may visit Shibaozhai temple or Wanzhou.

Day 3 Sunday
Cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge which is framed by steep mossy cliffs. Then, sail on through Wu Gorge, celebrated for its 12 peaks. At Badong, transfer to a small cruiser for an exciting excursion on Shenlong Stream to view its breathtaking small gorges. Next, sail through Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of all the gorges. Finally, pass through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship Lock.

Day 4 Monday
This morning, stop at Sandouping to view the historic Three Gorges Dam project, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Disembark Yichang before noon.

Day 1 Monday
Board your deluxe M.V. Oriental Emperor Ship and settle into your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable cruise upstream.

Day 2 Tuesday
Stop at San Dou Ping this morning to see the historic Three Gorges Dam project. Reboard the ship and sail through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship lock before continuing through Xiling Gorge, longest of the famed Three Gorges.

Day 3 Wednesday
Early in this morning, delight in Wu Gorge's deep zigzagging valley. At Wushan, transfer to a motorboat for an exciting excursion on either Daning River or Shennong Stream to view their breathtaking small gorges. Reboard the ship and soon pass through the dramatic grandeur of Qutang Gorge, framed by steep cliffs.

Day 4 Thursday
Today's shore excursion shows the beautiful and magnificent Snow-Jade Cave.
