01 6-night cruise from Chongqing to Shanghai Day 1 - Embark Victoria Prince / Cruising / Fengdu Board the Victoria Prince to begin your 7-day odyssey down the legendary Yangtze River. This afternoon's excursion explores the famous "Ghost City" of Fengdu. Meals L, D Day 2 - Cruising / Three Gorges and Lesser Gorges Cruise through the most dramatic scenery along the Yangtze River. First is Qutang Gorge. Later, small motorized boats will take you up the Daning River through the picturesque Lesser Gorges, spectacular canyons dotted with the sites of ancient hanging coffins. And then, the ship cruises Wu Gorge, passing by the famous Goddess Peak. During dinner the ship is scheduled to enter the ship locks of the Three Gorges Dam. Meals B, L, D Day 3 - Cruising / Three Gorges Dam This morning's excursion visits the Three Gorges Dam Site to learn about the extraordinary engineering feat and its impact on China. Cruising continues through the afternoon, with a variety of educational lectures and entertainment on board. Meals B,L,D Day 4 - Cruising / Wuhan Visit the Hubei Provincial Museum, known for an outstanding collection of ancient artifacts excavated from a 2,400-year-old tomb. Upon returning to ship, set sail for Mt. Huangshan. Meals B,L,D Day 5 - Cruising / Mt. Huangshan Today you will enjoy a full day excursion to Mt. Huangshan, the most famous and perhaps most beautiful of China's legendary mountain peaks. You will take a 10-minute cable car ascending 3,800 feet to the summit. Enjoy breathtaking vistas of ancient pine forests, unusual stone formations and craggy mountain peaks. Later you will return to ship for dinner and overnight cruising to Nanjing. (Jiuhuanshan, "Mountain of Nine Lotuses", may be substituted if weather and road conditions do not permit travel to Huangshan). Meals B,L,D Day 6 - Cruising / Nanjing A full day tour includes the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and the Confucius Temple. Then you will route to the temple, exploring the bustling bazaar of stores and cafes housed in traditional Qing Dynasty shop-houses. All the stores and cafes feature local folk crafts and commodities, unavailable in other parts of the country. Meals B,L,D Day 7 - Arrive Shanghai When arrive at Shanghai, you will disembark from the ship and end your pleasant trip. 02 8-night cruise from Shanghai to Chongqing Day 1 Shanghai Check into Victoria Prince before 5:00 PM in Shanghai and begin your trip. Day 2 Nanjing Today you will enjoy a full day tour of Nanjing including Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty style bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple. Then you will route to the Confucian Temple, exploring the bustling bazaar of stores and cafes housed in traditional Qing Dynasty shop-houses. All the stores and cafes feature local folk crafts and commodities, unavailable in other parts of the country. Day 3 Yellow Mountain Between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm you will be in shore and enjoy the excursion to Yellow Mountain. (Jiuhuashan may be substituted if weather or road conditions do not permit a visit to Huangshan.) You will enjoy breathtaking vistas of ancient pine forests, unusual stone formations, craggy mountain peaks and sea of clouds.
