Cruise Itinerary:

The Upstream trip 4 nights from Yichang to Chongqing (upriver)

Day 01 - Yichang Check-in
Today you will check-in in Yichang and pre-board before 8 PM.

Day 02 - Yangtze River - Three Gorges Dam (B,L,D)
The day begins with a morning excursion to the enormous and controversial Three Gorges Dam. Its completion in 2009 will create new sights and sceneries while submerging others. We reboard in the afternoon and sail through the ship locks and then on to breathtakingly beautiful Xiling Gorge.

Day 03 - Yangtze Cruise - Daning River or Shennong Stream (B,L,D)
At Wushan, we disembark our ship and board small vessels to navigate either Daning River or Shennong Stream. The small ships are an ideal way to experience this tributary of the Yangtze. The Daning River is the largest branch of Yangtze River. Scenery along the Daning River is elegantly stunning with beautiful peaks, dangerous shoals and unusual stones. Cruising along the Shennong Stream by boat, visitors will become immersed in the wonders of zigzagging watercourses, the primitive environment, the canzonet by the boat tracker, and the mysterious culture along the banks. In the afternoon, we reboard and pass through the soaring peaks of Qutang Gorge.

Day 04 - Yangtze Cruise - Ghost City (B,L,D)
Today's shore excursion leads us to the fabled "City of Ghosts" Fengdu, Wanxian, or "the Pearl of Yangtze" Shibaozhai, largely depending on the river condition. Fengdu is a famous ghost town and considered to be the only ghost city in China and the spirits found on this island guard the spirit world.

Day 05 Chonqing Check-out (B)
Our Yangtze River Cruise ends upon the ship's arrival at Chongqing at 9 AM.

Day 01 - Chongqing Check-in
Today you will check-in in Chongqing, board Victoria Cruises vessel and edge out of port at 8 PM.
