The latest and superb five-star deluxe sightseeing ship-the Yangtze No. 1, has been built and just started its operation since 17th, July, 2006. It is exquisitely designed and decorated in line with the top five -star standard. With the combination of human-oriented design and advanced facilities, Yangtze No. 1 becomes one of the most luxury cruise ship on the Yangtze River at the moment. It features a conference hall designed for maximum 250 participants, and a swimming pool, which makes it an ideal ship for MICE travel.

The ship is 104 meters long, 16 meters wide with 6 decks. All cabins are equipped with satellite TV, central air conditioning, telephone, solid radio and acoustic system, and independent bathroom. Being relaxation oriented, the ship possesses sightseeing elevators and surfing pond to cater your needs.
Its main facilities include: business center, sauna & massage room, book bar, cigar bar, gymnasium, recreation room, multifunctional conference room, etc. The ship adopts high-tech navigation system and remote control device to ensure safe navigation, devotes all its power to build a luxurious, homelike and comfortable home on water for the guests.

Cruise Itinerary:

Downstream (Chongqing->Yichang )
Day 1 Saturday
Board your deluxe M.V. Yangtze No.1 Ship and settle into your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable cruise downstream.

Day 2 Sunday
Depart from Chongqing in the morning. In the afternoon, go ashore to visit Fengdu, the "Ghost City", where the Chinese believe the soul of the dead goes. The balance of the day is free to explore the ship's many amenities. Tonight, you are our guests at the captain's cocktail party.

Day 3 Monday
Cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge, which is framed by steep mossy cliffs. Then, sail on through Wu Gorge, celebrated for its 12 peaks. At Badong, transfer to a small cruiser for an exciting excursion on Shenlong Stream to view its breathtaking small gorges. Next, sail through Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of all the gorges. Finally, pass through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship Lock.

Day 4 Tuesday
This morning, stop at Sandouping to view the historic Three Gorges Dam project, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Reboard the ship and sail on to Yichang where you disembark.

Upstream (Yichang->Chongqing)
Day 1 Tuesday
Board your deluxe M.V Yangtze No.1 Ship and settle into your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable cruise upstream.

Day 2 Wednesday
Stop at San Dou Ping this morning to see the historic Three Gorges Dam project. Reboard the ship and sail through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship lock before continuing through Xiling Gorge, the longest one of the famed Three Gorges. Xiling Gorge is also known for its danger by its numerous reefs and odd-shaped stones existing in rapid shoals.

Day 3 Thursday
Early this morning, delight in Wu Gorge's deep zigzagging valley. At Wushan, transfer to a motorboat for an exciting excursion on either Daning River or Shennong Stream to view their breathtaking small gorges. Reboard the ship and soon pass through the dramatic grandeur of Qutang Gorge, the shortest, narrowest and most spectacular of the Three Gorges which is framed by steep cliffs.

Day 4 Friday
Today's shore excursion shows the magnificent 12-story wooden pagoda known as the "Pearl of the Yangtze" in scenic Shibaozhai.

*Alternate shore excursion may visit Fengdu or Wanzhou. Fengdu, the "Ghost City", where the Chinese believe the soul of the dead goes.

Day 5 Saturday
This morning you will cruise through now-gentle countryside to Chongqing, where you disembark the ship.
