The ship is 91.5 meters long and 16.4 meters wide with a draft of 2.6 meters. Installed with engines of 3480 h.p., she can sail from Chongqing to shanghai all the year round with a maximum speed or 30km per hour instill water.

The M.S. Yangtze Princess is built in Dongfeng shipyard, which is affiliated to China Changjiang National shipping Group Co. It is designed and decorated according to the Four-star standard. The dark blue glass-enclosed body expresses its interior adequately.
Its main facilities include: central air-conditioning, closed circuit TV, audio, Chinese and western dining rooms, coffee house, video cinema, bar, hall room, karaoke gift shop, beauty parlor, outside observation deck, etc.

According to different nationalities, diet habit, religion, culture and so on, travelers are arranged with ten persons as a group, and each group is served by regular steward. There're two types of buffet meal and table meal, and the dining room has the accommodation of 160 persons.
All cabins are ‘outside’ cabins with windows. Features listed below may vary according to the standard of cabin chosen. More facilities like King or Queen Beds, sitting room and private balcony are available in the Deluxe or Presidential suite.

Cruise Itinerary:

Downstream (Chongqing->Yichang)
Day 1: Thursday
Board your deluxe M.V. Yangtze Princess Ship and settle into your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable cruise downstream.

Day 2: Friday
Depart Chongqing in the morning. In the afternoon, go ashore to visit Fengdu, the "Ghost City", where the Chinese believe the soul of the dead goes. The balance of the day is free to explore the ship's many amenities. Tonight, you are our guests at the captain's cocktail party.

Day 3: Saturday
Cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge, which is framed by steep mossy cliffs. Then, sail on through Wu Gorge, celebrated for its 12 peaks. At Badong, transfer to a small cruiser for an exciting excursion on Shenlong Stream to view its breathtaking small gorges. Next, sail through Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of all the gorges. Finally, pass through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship Lock.

Day 4: Sunday
This morning, stop at Sandouping to view the historic Three Gorges Dam project, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Reboard the ship and sail on to Yichang where you disembark.

Upstream (Yichang->Chongqing)
Day 1: Sunday
Board your deluxe M.V. Yangtze Princess Ship and settle into your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable cruise upstream.

Day 2: Monday
Stop at San Dou Ping this morning to see the historic Three Gorges Dam project. Reboard the ship and sail through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship lock before continuing through Xiling Gorge, longest of the famed Three Gorges. Xiling Gorge is also known for its danger by its numerous reefs and odd-shaped stones existing in rapid shoals.

Day 3: Tuesday
Early in the morning, delight in Wu Gorge's deep zigzagging valley. At Wushan, transfer to a motorboat for an exciting excursion on either Daning River or Shennong Stream to view their breathtaking small gorges. Reboard the ship and soon pass through the dramatic grandeur of Qutang Gorge, the shortest, narrowest and most spectacular of the Three Gorges which is framed by steep cliffs.

Day 4: Wednesday
Today's shore excursion shows the magnificent 12-story wooden pagoda known as the "Pearl of the Yangtze" in scenic Shibaozhai.

*Alternate shore excursion may visit Fengdu or Wanzhou. Fengdu, the "Ghost City", where the Chinese believe the soul of the dead goes.

Day 5: Thursday
This morning you will cruise through now-gentle countryside to Chongqing, where you disembark the ship.
