President No.4, a 4-star cruiser, is the so-called Yangtze Cruise which pioneered the Three Gorges travel. In the year of 2001 and 2003, the ship was rebuilt and redecorated entirely. It boasts full-equipped and modern facilities, top management and considerate services. By far it is still one of the largest, most dedicatedly equipped cruiser ships on Yangtze River.

Yangtze Cruises boats 6 decks, with 84.6 meters long and 16.8 meters wide. The public areas include dining hall, bars, inner and outer observation areas, ballroom, game-room, foot massage room as well as beauty parlor, clinic and shopping center. It first started and still keeps the "tradition" of some on-board entertainment activities such as calligraphy teaching, martial arts or Tai Chi teaching, folk dance, Chinese painting presentations, lectures on China's culture and history, etc.

The panorama view lounge, the wide walking decks, and the beautiful sundeck, all were specially and dedicatedly designed for passengers' convenience and comfort to approach the nature, enjoying fresh breezes and picturesque sceneries of the Three Gorges. The restaurant aboard offers a variety of classic and excellent foods from various parts of China and it still carry a reputation of excellent cuisine on Yangtze River. Day 1: Sunday
Board your deluxe M.V. Yangtze (President No.4) Ship and settle into your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable cruise downstream. Depart from Chongqing in the night.

Day 2: Monday
This morning, a shore excursion takes you to view the magnificent 12 -story wooden pavilion, known as" the pearl of Yangtze" in scenic area Shibaozhai.The balance of the day is free to explore the ship's many amenities. Tonight, you are our guests at the captain's cocktail party.

Day 3: Tuesday
Cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge, which is framed by steep mossy cliffs. Then, sail on through Wu Gorge, celebrated for its 12 peaks. At Badong, transfer to a small cruiser for an exciting excursion on Shenlong Stream to view its breathtaking small gorges. Next, sail through Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of all the gorges. Finally, pass through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship Lock.

Day 4: Wednesday
This morning, stop at San Dou Ping to view the historic Three Gorges Dam project, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Reboard the ship and sail on to Yichang where you disembark.

Day 1: Wednesday
Board your deluxe M.V. Yangtze (President No.4) and settle into your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable cruise upstream.

Day 2: Thursday
Stop at San Dou Ping this morning to see the historic Three Gorges Dam project. Reboard the ship and sail through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship lock before continuing through Xiling Gorge, the longest one of the famed Three Gorges. Xiling Gorge is also known for its danger by its numerous reefs and odd-shaped stones existing in rapid shoals.

Day 3: Friday
Early this morning, delight in Wu Gorge's deep zigzagging valley. At Wushan, transfer to a motorboat for an exciting excursion on either Daning River or Shennong Stream to view their breathtaking small gorges. Reboard the ship and soon pass through the dramatic grandeur of Qutang Gorge, the shortest, narrowest and most spectacular of the Three Gorges which is framed by steep cliffs.

Day 4: Saturday
Today's shore excursion shows the magnificent 12-story wooden pagoda known as the "Pearl of the Yangtze" in scenic area Shibaozhai.

*Alternate shore excursion may visit Fengdu or Wanzhou. Fengdu, the "Ghost City", where the Chinese believe the soul of the dead goes.

Day 5: Sunday
This morning you will cruise through now-gentle countryside to Chongqing, where you disembark the ship.
